1967 No 631 on the basis of the Volga branch of the Moscow Power
Engineering Institute Constitute as the Chuvash State University ,
which the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR of 30 November 1967 No
882 named I. N. Ulyanova. October 2, 2002 Chuvash State University I.
N. Ulyanova included in the Companies House as a Federal State
Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Chuvash
State University I. N. Ulyanova.” The Ministry of Education and Science
of the Russian Federation, Federal State Educational Institution of
Higher Professional Education “Chuvash State University I. N.
Ulyanova” was renamed to the Federal State Educational Institution
“Chuvash State University IN Ulyanov” people, and their total number
exceeded 300 people. History of the Faculty of Medicine dates back to
1967. Need to open a medical faculty was due to the significant
shortage of medical staff in the Chuvash Republic. The first reception
of the medical faculty consisted of 50 students. Gorky, Kazan, Ivanovo,
and some other medical institutions assisted in equipping the new
faculty teaching and laboratory equipment, textbooks. In 1969, to
accommodate the new departments and courses and organization of
educational process was transferred to the Faculty of three-storey
building. The number of students – the first course was taken 150.
